On October 7, our colleague Ophir Ackerman joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) Founders Circle: AI Tokenomics in Amsterdam to exchange ideas with founders and CTOs on how AI companies are building, scaling and pricing their products - and to continue our conversations with AWS around ScoutinScience’s technology roadmap.
One of the main takeaways from the afternoon strongly reinforced the direction we are taking at ScoutinScience: as AI models keep getting better, the real value is in the data underneath.
This is especially relevant because AI does not work in isolation. The quality, breadth and connections within the data it works with are what provide the context needed to understand research, identify opportunities and connect the right pieces.
That is why we continue improving and expanding the connected data foundation behind ScoutinScience, bringing together researchers, publications, patents, companies and funding opportunities. As that foundation grows, it continues to support the different ways our platform helps organisations explore research, uncover relevant funding opportunities and gain a clearer view of their research and innovation landscape.
Beyond the discussions around AI, the afternoon was also a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences with other companies working through many of the same questions around building and scaling AI products.
A special thank you to Quincy Kemper and Jordan Kramsky for their continued support as we grow and develop our technology. We look forward to the next steps together.
Thank you as well to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting, and to the speakers Johan van der Poel (Northlane), Clement Andre (OpenAI), Zaynab ElMawardy (NVIDIA), Peter-Paul Houtman (Bynder), Jarno Goossens (Aikido Security), Felipe Augusto Chies (AWS), and James Daltas (AWS).
