Gilles Meijer
CEO
Gilles Meijer has a background in business administration (MSc) at the University of Twente, and his master's was in innovative entrepreneurship and business development. Within ScoutinScience, Gilles is active in business development, marketing and screening of data. For the latter, he is responsible for finding market potential metrics. Gilles has a large network around universities, incubators and accelerators.
Olivér Angyal
Software Engineer
Olivér holds a Master Degree in Science with a major in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Olivér strengthens the development team at ScoutinScience. As a computer engineer and aspiring data scientist, he is responsible for full stack development, and machine learning tasks. He is enthusiastic about the entrepreneurial side of the startup world; hence he joined an international program for young innovators.
Diana Botorea
Marketeer
Diana Botorea has an international business degree with a specialisation in marketing and technology. She takes care of the strategy & content at ScoutinScience. Creativity is her strongest suit, managing to build content that both educates and inspires. Visuals, articles, social media, and blogs are the channels used by her to create storytelling & value for the customers.
Fabio Mistrangelo
Data Analyst
Fabio holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, showcasing his strong analytical skills. He is eager to apply his knowledge in real-world scenarios, making him a great fit for our fast-growing environment. His expertise in data analysis adds value to his role as a Data Analyst, allowing him to collect, process, and interpret complex datasets while identifying opportunities for technology transfer.

Data Analyst
Sara is a Business and IT student at the University of Twente, bringing a rich international background from Spain, Mexico, and England. As a Data Analyst at ScoutinScience, she applies her programming skills to analyze scientific publications and identify innovation opportunities. Sara's diverse and technical expertise make her a vital contributor to our goal of increasing the global technology transfer output.

Stratos holds a degree in Interaction Technology & AI, positioning him at the forefront of our algorithm improvement and AI technology development efforts. He leverages his AI expertise to drive innovation and enhance our technological capabilities. Jose Navarro
Data Analyst
José is pursuing a Master’s in Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente, with a focus on AI for Health. He has a background in Biomedical Engineering from Colombia, where he excelled in data science roles, developing deep learning models and managing international projects. At ScoutinScience, José applies his diverse skills to uncover hidden insights in scientific research.
Giannis Kamperakis
Software Engineer
Giannis Kamperakis holds a Master’s degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering from the University of West Attica. With his extensive background in full-stack development and expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and Angular, Giannis is well-positioned to advance our projects. His skills in both front-end and back-end development will significantly enhance our technological capabilities.

Junior Marketeer
Claudia is a third-year International Business student with a passion for marketing. She is responsible for marketing efforts, including social media management, content creation, and brand visibility. In addition, she supports business development activities, helping to expand partnerships and drive engagement within the deep tech and innovation ecosystem.

Prof. Dr. Maarten Steinbuch
Advisor
Maarten Steinbuch is a high-tech systems scientist, serial tech entrepreneur and keynote speaker. He holds the chair of Systems & Control at Eindhoven University of Technology. His research spans from automotive engineering to mechatronics, motion and fusion plasma control. He is most known for his work in the field of advanced motion control, as well as in robotics for high-precision surgery.
Alain le Loux
Advisor
Alain le Loux is a former serial entrepreneur with a technical background and Executive MBA. He founded / co-founded 17 startups and is an active investor as a business angel and VC for over 15 years. He brought over 200 technologies to the market and worked for 11 years for a TTO. On the Advisory Board of ScoutinScience, he focuses on aligning the roadmap, strategy and connections with companies and universities.
Anne-Wil Lucas
Advisor
Anne-Wil Lucas is passionate about bridging the gap between economy and ecology: building a sustainable world through innovation. As a former member of parliament, she initiated a startup policy in the Netherlands and when working for StartupDelta she focused on getting more deeptech out of the Universities into society. On the Advisory Board of ScoutinScience, she focuses on tech transfer policies and government relations.
Jasper van Weerd
Board Member
Jasper van Weerd holds a Bachelor in Applied Science from Saxion Hogescholen Enschede, in the Netherlands, and a Master in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Twente. Within ScoutinScience Jasper is responsible for the creation of the product. He is the one that can translate technology into meaningful information. Jasper is well aware of the structure, hierarchy and politics within universities.
