On 4–5 June, our CEO Gilles Meijer joined our GreenShift partners at the Università di Pisa for a two-day plenary meeting focused on the next steps of the project.
GreenShift is a European project developing a market-led Joint European Master’s programme focused on AI and High-Performance Computing for green digital innovation in transport.
Together with our partners, we reviewed project progress and aligned the next steps across education, research, communication, and industry engagement. Discussions focused on curriculum development, programme accreditation, learning delivery models, shared datasets for innovation activities, communication and dissemination, and how GreenShift can continue responding to evolving industry and workforce needs.
Within the project, we support the Market Needs Analysis by helping identify AI and HPC skills gaps among SMEs and startups in the transport sector. We also contribute to the Innovation Challenges Programme, where students will engage with real-world use cases through hackathons and applied industry projects.
The Pisa meeting marked an important moment for the consortium to exchange ideas, align activities, and continue building a European learning programme that responds to the skills needed for cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable mobility.
Thank you to all GreenShift partners for the productive discussions and collaboration in Pisa. We look forward to continuing this work together!
