Our colleague Claudia Lita has graduated Cum Laude in International Business and is starting a new chapter at ScoutinScience as a Marketeer.
Claudia started her journey at ScoutinScience one and a half years ago, first as an intern and later through her graduation assignment. Over time, we have seen her grow both personally and professionally, and we are proud to have been part of this important chapter in her development.
For her graduation assignment, Claudia focused on business development within Defence Innovation Ecosystems in the Netherlands and Belgium. This topic was highly relevant to us, as defence organisations increasingly need clearer visibility on emerging technologies, stakeholders, and capabilities in order to make timely and evidence-based innovation decisions.
Through her research, Claudia explored how the defence innovation landscape is organised in practice, how relevant technologies and stakeholders are identified, and where bottlenecks in innovation adoption emerge. Her work contributed to our understanding of how defence innovation ecosystems can be better supported in dealing with visibility, complexity, and innovation uptake.
A special thank you goes to Gilles Meijer, her company supervisor, and to Diana Botorea for the guidance, trust, and continuous support they offered Claudia throughout her graduation journey. Their dedication to her development shows how important the right support and learning environment can be for a student’s growth. Their involvement helped Claudia gain confidence, develop professionally, and bring her graduation assignment to a successful conclusion.
We would also like to thank Claudia’s Saxion University of Applied Sciences supervisor, Hidde Bulten, for his valuable guidance, feedback, and support throughout the graduation process, as well as her second assessor, Vera Bextermoeller-Ammermann, for her role in the final assessment.
But this journey does not end here. Claudia has now signed her first employment contract with ScoutinScience and will continue with us as a Marketeer! 🥳
